献身的な犬は仕事中や夜間に本領を発揮します。その時彼らは、生まれ持った鋭い嗅覚を上手く利用して任務を遂行しています。このように我々人間も才能を生かすだけでなく、常に努力をする必要があります。その積み重ねが、成功への道となります。
本作品「Prey」には、ファン・ポーレン氏が手作業で表面を整えた制作の軌跡がしっかりと刻み込まれています。社会に適合された犬のように、人の意志と嗅覚はその持ち主との密接な相互作用があってこそ長く残っていくものなのです。
Dedicated dogs are particularly clever at work or at night. They make good use of the natural keen sense of smell to help them perform their duty.
In addition to being good at using talents, a person still needs to work hard around the clock. By doing so, he/she will succeed one day.
The trace of HUANG Poren's creation is firmly branded on the work of Prey. Like a socialized dog, the human’s will and smell have long been left under close interaction with the keeper.
